The aim of this study was to compare the effects of herbal medicine of turtle' crust soften hard tissue and colchicines on liver cirrhosis in rate. The result in this report have shown that the biochemistic parameters and hepatic fibrosis were significantly improved in the herbal groups than those in colchicines groups. The symptoms of patients, such as abdomidnal distension, nausea, the pain in liver area, were improved, this medicine could decrease the content of hyaluronic acid and increased the content of hydroxyproline in urine. The effects of herbal medicine of turtle' crust is better than those in salvia milti groups.
