Abstract

Abstract

To determine the influence on the detection of HCV RNA by using different primerpairs, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for NS5b region and 5'-noncoding region (5'-NCR) of HCV were used in 148 cases with hepatitis.The results show that HCV RNA positive rates were 24.3% by the primers at NS5b gene, 31.1% by the primers 5-NCR gene.The detection for HCV RNA at NS5b region was as sensitive as that at 5-noncoding region
