Abstract

Abstract

To investigate the relationship of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and its relationship with serum markers of hepatic fibrosis (HA、LN、PⅢP and Ⅳ.C) in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) .The levels of serum IGF-1 and serum markers of hepatic fibrosis extracted from patients with CHB and liver cirrhosis were analyzed by RIA.Compared with the control, the level of serum markers of hepatic fibrosis was significantly higher in patients with CHB and liver cirrhosis.The level of serum IGF-1 in patients with CHB was significantly higher than that in control.While the level of serum IGF-1 in patients with liver cirrhosis was lower than that in control.There were positive relationship betweenthe levels of serum IGF-1 and serum markers of hepatic fibrosis in patients with CHB.And there was no relationship in patients with liver cirrhosis.IGF-1 might be related with liver damage and hepatic fibrosis in patients with CHB.
