Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of cinobufagin injection by transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with intravenous on treating primary liver cancer (PLC) .Methods 47 patients with moderate and advanced primary liver cancer were randomly divided into treatment group (23 patients) and control group (24 patients) .The AFP, laboratory tests of liver function, quality of life, the size of tumor were observed before and after treatment.Results The laboratory tests of liver functionsuch as ALT and GGT decreased obviously in the treatment group (P=0.021, P=0.032) .The level of AFP decreased significantly after treatment in thetreatment group (P=0.015) .The quality of life of the treatment group was better than that of control group (P=0.030) .Conclusion The treatment for PLC with cinobufagin through Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with intravenous can not only inhibit the proliferation of cancer, but also protect liver function and improve quality of life.It is an effective method for patients with PLC who have miss the surgical chance.
