The Study on Relationship between E-cadherin, MMP-2 and MMP-9' expressions and the prognosis of hepatolellular carcinoma.

摘要: 探讨钙粘素E(E -cadherin) ,基质金属蛋白酶 (matrixmetalloproteinase,MMPs)MMP - 2、MMP - 9在肝癌侵袭转移中的作用 ;利用免疫组化学染色对 6 8例肝癌手术切除石蜡包埋标本进行E -cadherin、MMP - 2、MMP - 9的检测 ,并结合临床病理指标 (Edmondson分级、侵袭转移倾向 )进行分析。E -cadherin、MMP - 9在侵袭转移倾向高危组和低危组中有显著性差异 ;E -cadherin在不同恶性程度肝癌组织中有显著性差异。E -cadherin、MMP - 9的异常表达与肝癌分期和侵袭转移有关。检测E -cadherin、MMP - 2、MMP - 9等可为临床预后提供有价值的参考指标。Abstract: To investigate the effect of E-cadherin, MMP-2 and MMP-9 on invasion and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) ; Surgical samples from 68 cases of HCC and their peritumorous tissues were detected by immunohistochemical technique In the group of high potential in vasion and mestastasis of HCC, the expressions of E-cadherin MMP-2 and MMP-9 were 9%, 42% and 61%, respectively, while in low potential group, they were 29%, 34% and 34%, respectively. There was a correlation between the expression of MMP-9 and the tumor invasion and metastasis in HCC ( P <0 05) and a reverse correlation between the expression of E-cadherin and the tumor invasion and metastasis potential in HCC ( P <0 05) . The expression of E-cadherin was significantly correlated with the differentiation of HCC. The positive rates in Edmondson's HCC Ⅳ grade were lower than that, in Ⅱ grade ( P <0 01) . The abnormal expressions of E-cadherin and MMP-9 were correlated with Edmondson's grade and the invasion and metastasis of HCC. E-cadherin MMP-2 and MMP-9 may be useful diagnostic parameters for the tumor invasion and metastasis in HCC.
