Abstract: To study the quantitative and qualitative PCR detection and clinical application of HBV-DNA HBV-DNA of 283 clinical serum samples were examined Among them, 125 samples was tested with fluorescence quantitative PCR and analyzed for the different hepatitis B types, the other 158 samples was tested with routine PCR and HBV markers were tested with ELISA The relationship on the quantitative and qualitative detection of HBV-DNA was studied The quantity of HBV-DNA was not obviously related with hepatitis B types Among the different hepatitis B types and HBV markers, DNA positive rates were different there was identical relation between the quantitative and qualitative PCR of HBV-DNA FQ-PCR can detect the real and accurate quantity of HBV-DNA, but the instrument is so expensive that the application is limited The qualitative PCR can be selected so long as the operating rules can be observed The significance of HBV markers should be rerealized
