OSID, the short form of Open Science Identity, can be used to improve the academic influence of scientific papers greatly through four level interactions between authors and readers. With OSID, readers can have online one to one discussion with authors which might help readers understand the papers more easily, spend less time on literature retrieval and have cooperation with other researchers.

Adding OSID for each paper published on journal can provide additional service for authors and readers and create a channel of better peer communication for authors

OSID has following 5 contents: ① Voice of author introducing his (her) paper (less than 1 minute); ② Online communication between author and reader; ③Selected questions and answers in online interaction between author and reader; ④Reader circle of this paper; ⑤ Additional information (uploaded paper related picture and video). Voice of author introducing his (her) paper is essential for OSID, which can facilitate the spread of the study results and enhance the author’s academic influence. By using OSID, a platform for the interaction and communication between authors and readers is created, which could improve the reading, downloading and citation of the paper and promote academic exchange.

We will give every author an OSID account, which is the mobile phone number of the author, the default pass word is 123456 (Author can revise it after register). Author can scan the two-dimensional code in the E-mail we send using your WeChat and click official account “SAYS management platform” to upload the voice introducing his (her) paper (less than one minute). Readers can have online discussion with authors after scanning the OSID.

The ORCID registration system can be used by individuals free of charge. Researchers can obtain the ORCID identifier through registration, manage their activity records or search other contents in the registration system. The author can register at the following website: http://orcid.org/ 。
