从事传染病临床医疗、教学、科研20余年。曾赴德国Duisburg-Essen大学胃肠肝病科学习,获医学博士学位。中华医学会自身免疫性肝病学组委员、中华医学会肝病学分会青年委员、中华医学会肝病学分会肝病基础医学与实验诊断协作组委员、湖北省医学生物免疫学会免疫治疗不良反应MDT专家委员会常务委员、湖北省艾滋病防治协会理事、湖北省卫健委疫情处置工作组成员。
对病毒性肝炎、自身免疫性肝病、各种原因导致肝功能不良的鉴别、肝硬化和肝衰竭等终末期肝病;各种感染发热性疾病积累了丰富的临床和科研经验。
主持多项国家自然科学基金课题,获国家发明专利两项,以第一作者或通讯作者在国际肝脏病学、病毒学和免疫学专业杂志“Nature Communication”、“Hepatology”、“Journal of Virology”、“Journal of Immunology”等杂志上发表多篇文章。
