1999年毕业于湖南医科大学临床医学七年制，获学士和硕士学位。 2003年获中南大学内科学博士学位，1999年7月～至今，在中南大学湘雅医院感染病科工作，历任住院医师、主治医师、副主任医师，2014年晋升为主任医师。现为湘雅医院感染病主任，博士生导师，任中华医学会感染病学分会常委，中华医学会肝病学分会委员，湖南省医学会感染病学分会主任委员。主持国家自然科学基金2项，参与5项国家重大科技项目和多项省部级课题。获湖南省科技进步二等奖2项。已发表相关专业论文40余篇。参编医学专著8部。
