RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
MAJOR AREAS OF RESEARCH INTEREST
The primary focus of my laboratory is to explore the molecular pathways that regulate
normal human metabolism and tissue growth and the modifications to these pathways
evident in chronic disease.
RESEARCH IN PROGRESS
I have developed two major research projects: “The mechanism of beta-cell regeneration”
and “Fatty liver progression to liver cancer”.
