Association between nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and depression

摘要

摘要: 非酒精性脂肪性肝病（NAFLD）已成为世界上最常见的慢性肝病之一。随着生物-心理-社会医学模式的发展,NAFLD患者的精神健康问题逐渐受到重视。近年来,NAFLD与精神性疾病,特别是抑郁症的相关研究越来越多,且证实二者存在明显的相关性。但二者相关性的共同病理生理机制仍不明确,孰因孰果及治疗方式亟待进一步研究。综述了NAFLD与抑郁症的关系、共同病理生理机制及治疗的研究进展。期望为两者关系更深层次的研究打下基础,有助于未来临床对这两种疾病进行联合预防和治疗。

Abstract: At present,nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) has become one of the most common chronic liver diseases in the world.With the development of the bio-psycho-social medical model,the mental health problems of patients with NAFLD are gradually attracting more and more attention. In recent years,more and more studies have been conducted on the association between NAFLD and psychiatric diseases,especially depression. Studies have shown that there is a significant correlation between NAFLD and depression; however,the common pathophysiological mechanism of such correlation is still unclear and further studies are needed to determine their causal relationship and treatment. This article reviews the research advances in the association between NAFLD and depression,common pathophysiological mechanism,and treatment,so as to lay a foundation for further research on these two disease and help with their prevention and treatment in future clinical practice.
