Recent advances in understanding the relations between liver cirrhosis and sleep disorders

肝硬化患者常表现出睡眠障碍,最新研究显示睡眠障碍或许与肝硬化患者不良预后有关。本文讨论睡眠障碍与肝性脑病(HE)和肝肺综合征(HPS)等肝硬化并发症之间的关系,并对其在原发性胆汗性肝硬化、丙型肝炎、非酒精性脂肪肝、wilson病等几种特殊病因引起的肝硬化中的作用作一综述。
Abstract:Liver cirrhosis patients frequently experience sleep disorders, and the latest research findings have indicated that the presence of sleep disorders may be correlated with poor prognosis in this patient population.In this review, the specific cirrhosis complications, including hepatic encephalopathy-decompensated cirrhosis and hepatopulmonary syndrome, as well as the etiologic factors of cirrhosis, including primary biliary cirrhosis, hepatitis C virus infection, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and Wilson's disease, associated with sleep disorders are discussed.Findings from animal and clinical studies, such as those using dominant frequency analysis by electroencephalography to detect brain dysfunction under specific conditions and molecular analyses that have provided insights into the mechanisms related to gas exchange mechanisms, are detailed along with results of promising drug treatments.
