Diagnostic and therapeutic value of endoscopic ultrasonography for pancreatic cancer

摘要:
胰腺癌是我国常见肿瘤之一,5年生存率不到5%。由于胰腺癌早期缺乏典型临床表现,待明确诊断时90%患者已出现局部浸润及远处转移而无法行根治性切除。随着超声内镜(EUS)的出现,EUS在胰腺癌的诊断和治疗方面起着重要的作用。本文仅就EUS对胰腺癌的诊断和治疗进展作一综述。

Abstract:
Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in China, and the 5-year survival rate is less than 5%.The extremely low survival rate and poor prognosis stem from the lack of clinical manifestations in the disease's early stages.Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is a highly sensitive technology that may facilitate earlier diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.In this review, we discuss the latest applications of EUS in pancreatic cancer and the implications for timely treatment initiation and improved therapeutic outcome.
